Terms & Conditions

Educational standards, codes of conduct, and mutual agreements for all enrolled students, guardians, and teachers at Nur Islamic Academy.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Islamic Ethics

By visiting Nur Islamic Academy, enrolling in our courses, registering for a free trial, or using any of our academic portals, you affirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Quranic Injunction: "O you who have believed, fulfill all your contracts and commitments." (Surah Al-Ma’idah: 1)

All academy operations, tutoring relations, and administrative agreements are founded upon the principles of Quran and Sunnah, honesty, fairness, and mutual respect.

2. Admission & Free Trial Classes

  • Free Trial Assessment: Every new student is entitled to a complimentary trial assessment class where instructor evaluation and course placement take place.
  • Accurate Information: Guardians and students must provide accurate and verifiable personal, age, and contact information upon registration.
  • Parental Consent: Students under 18 years must have their enrollment authorized by a parent or legal guardian.

3. Class Schedule & Punctuality

Consistency and punctuality are vital to mastering the Holy Quran and Islamic studies:

  • Students must be online and prepared to join the classroom link at least 2 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
  • If a student is more than 10 minutes late without prior notice, the tutor is not obligated to wait beyond that window, and the class will be marked as conducted.
  • Students should study in a clean, quiet, and well-lit environment to maintain full concentration and respect for the Holy Quran.

4. Makeup Classes & Rescheduling

  • Student Leave Notice: If a student cannot attend a scheduled session, at least 4-6 hours prior notice must be sent to the academy coordinator or teacher.
  • Eligible Makeup Class: With timely advance notice, students are eligible for up to 2 makeup classes per month, scheduled at a mutually agreed slot.
  • Teacher Absence: If an instructor is absent due to emergency, the academy guarantees a qualified substitute tutor or a full makeup session.

5. Course Fees & Billing Policy

  • Advance Monthly Tuition: Tuition fees are billed monthly in advance and must be cleared within the first week (1st–7th) of each billing cycle.
  • Authorized Payment Channels: Payments should only be made through official academy channels (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Bank Transfer, or Online Card Gateway).
  • No Direct Cash to Tutors: Paying fees directly to tutors outside official academy channels is strictly prohibited and not recognized by the institution.

6. Refund & Course Transfer Policy

  • Risk-Free Trial: Students only proceed to payment after full satisfaction during the complimentary trial class.
  • Refund Eligibility: If a student withdraws prior to attending any class in a newly paid billing cycle, a refund may be issued minus minor transaction fees. Once classes have commenced for the month, tuition fees are non-refundable.
  • Course or Tutor Transfer: Students may request a change of instructor or transfer to an alternative course if schedule or pedagogy adjustments are required.

7. Female Modesty & Tutor Ethics

Our academy holds the sanctity and modesty of female students and teachers in the highest esteem:

  • Adult female learners and young girls are taught exclusively by certified female scholars and Quran teachers.
  • Video cameras are never mandatory for female learners. Lessons are conducted effectively through audio and interactive Quran text on screen.

8. Student Code of Conduct & Islamic Adab

  • Reverence for the Quran: Studying the Holy Quran is an act of worship. Students should be in Wudu (purification), sit respectfully, and maintain focused attention.
  • Respect for Instructors: Mutual respect, courtesy, and Islamic etiquette must govern all interactions between teachers, students, and parents.
  • Zero Tolerance for Misconduct: Harassment, disrespectful language, political controversy, or inappropriate behavior will lead to immediate expulsion.

9. Intellectual Property & Course Materials

All syllabi, tajweed lecture notes, digital handouts, worksheets, and portal software belong to Nur Islamic Academy and are licensed solely for enrolled students’ personal learning. Commercial distribution or unauthorized resale is prohibited.

10. Course Pause, Discontinuation & Suspension

  • Temporary Course Pause: Students may request a temporary pause (up to 1 month) for school exams or travel by notifying the academy 7 days in advance.
  • Certification of Completion: Upon completing all course requirements and successfully passing the final exam, students receive an official, verified certificate.
